Oasis, one of the most influential bands of the 1990s Britpop movement, is set to reunite for a series of concerts in 2025, marking their first performances together since their split in 2009. This reunion has been long-awaited by fans who have hoped for a reconciliation between the famously feuding Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam. The tour will coincide with the 30th anniversary of their landmark album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?.
The reunion tour will include performances across the at UK Wembley Stadium, Heaton Park in Manchester and Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh. The big news is that the tour will kick off with two dates at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. on July 4th and 5th, 2025.
Oasis has a significant connection to Monmouthshire, particularly through Rockfield Studios, the historic recording studio near Monmouth. This studio was instrumental in the band's early success, serving as the recording site for some of their most iconic tracks, including "Wonderwall" from their album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?.
Tickets will go on sale for the tour at 9am on Saturday 31st August.
