Hat's off to the team at the Castle Inn, Caldicot, who have transformed the pub into a mini market and food deliver service.

We started this venture to help out the elderly with a few chilled meals and some fruit and veg which I’m now realising there are a lot more people needing our products. Over this week I’ve scaled up the operation to try and accommodate everyone’s needs - we now sell most products you would get in any convenience store as well as widening our selection of fruit and veg ,we are now selling flour including bread flour , yeast , cakes , washing powder , coffee , pasta , sugar , milk , sliced meats , cheese , chickens (whole and breasts, eggs, bread , ketchup, sauces , beans , tomatoes , and of course our scones and clotted cream . This week we have delivered over 300 parcels of food and had umpteen call and collect parcels done , the shop has a steady queue all day and Jan is on the phone from 10-5 non stop - please bear with us if you can’t get through but I urge you to keep trying we will get to answer you I’m sure 01291430830
