Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Abergavenny and Blaenavon on Tuesday 1st March 2022 to learn about the importance of the agricultural industry, as part of a St David's Day tour of Wales.
Their Royal Highnesses will first visit a goat farm that has been providing milk to a local cheese producer for nearly 20 years, Pant Farm near Abergavenny,
From there they will visit Abergavenny Market to see how important local suppliers are to rural communities before moving on to visit Blaenavon Hwb, a community-focused youth centre that helps to support over 600 local young people.
Finally, stopping at the World Heritage Site visitor centre to learn more about the history of Blaenavon. The Duke and Duchess will also plant a tree for the Jubilee in Blaenavon as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy, initiative.
